Renton ‘Shop Local’ Marketing Credits

A powerful partnership between the City of Renton and the Renton Reporter is providing high-impact multimedia marketing credits to help Renton businesses to recover, create jobs, bring back services, and thrive.

Funding: 

Marketing campaigns span a 2-3 month period and must be completed before December 31, 2023. There will be no out of pocket expense for Renton businesses.  The City of Renton will cover 50%, and the Renton Reporter will cover 50% of the campaigns. The credits are for advertising services rendered by the Renton Reporter and will not be distributed to the individual businesses. 

Business Qualifications: 

Must be located in the Renton City Limits

Limited to businesses with less than 50 employees

2022 City of Renton business license and be in good tax standing

Must sell a product or service to consumers of Renton

Must complete an application by 4/15/23

The marketing credits are non-transferable.
