Sound is pleased to announce, effective June 30th, that Clare Ortblad has joined Sound Publishing’s national team as the Market Development Administrator/Designer after working as the Creative Artist for the Bainbridge Island Review for nearly a year. She developed a background in design and international relations at Rhode Island School of Design and University of Washington. She lived abroad with her parents for the majority of her life and caught the travel bug. After college, she decided to live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where she worked for a non-governmental organization and later as a designer and associate editor of The Cambodia Daily’s “Weekend” magazine. She is thrilled to be transferring to the national/regional team soon and taking the next step in her career.
